- Just a hunch but are you using the fixed NFS-NDIS.SYS (the version +protman
- fix)?

- Subject: wsarchie & services
-
- I keep getting those timed out messages when I try an archie search to each
- and every archie server I know. I can however telnet to the archie server an
- do an archie search there. David Woakes <david@maxwell.demon.co.uk> suggested
- that maybe the udp weren't sent out.
- I've been thinking lately that maybe my services file isn't correctly set up.
- Do I have to add archie to it? , like so:
-
- archie x/udp
-
- I can't find it in the textfile or the helpfile that I have to do it but maybe
- it is common knowledge (like pop3 110/tcp) and I don't know it.
-
- Thanks for your help,
-

- Eudora will look in a directory specified by a DOS environmental
- variable EUDORA for a place to store it's mailboxes, .ini, signature
- and so forth. On my machine, the executable etc live in
- C:\WINDOWS\EUDORA but I have the above variable set to
- EUDORA=C:\MAIL. This should work in your case assuming that all the
- users have a C:\MAIL for instance. What version are you running?
- We use V1.4.

- Subject: Trumpet telnet that emulates vt100 ?
-
- I have just installed the trumpet telnet, and can't figure out
- if there is a way to emulate a vt100 screen.
- Is there anything out there that will allow it to do so ?
- Or any program what will supply a new telnet session that will
- emulate a vt100 screen ?
